I wandered around the quaint town of Beaune and discovered these quaint heart window shutters - I was happy to be able to record it on film and take it home with me.
The tower (and Paris for that matter) lived up to its name and dazzled me to no end. I was totally mesmerized and hoped so badly that these photos would come out - I didn't have a tripod and handheld my camera with the widest aperture and slowest shutter speed I could manage. I am happy with the photos considering I was also on boat on the Seine and had no second chance to shoot from this angle! I continue to be dazzled and wish to go back to Paris one day.
I label this an old favourite because it is one of the oldest abstraction photographs of mine - and one of the first photographs that revealed to me the magic of photography and how I could record the world in my own way.
